Bret Favre Retires

This week long time Packer great QB Bret Favre retired. He has had a 17 year brill ant career. He was a true American icon and a hero to Green Bay Residents.In his 17 seasons, Brett Favre set numerous NFL records, including most yards passing (61,655) and touchdowns (442). Favre was truly an iron man and set the NFL record for most consecutive starts. He always looked like he was enjoying himself and having fun on the field. The Packers were competitive every year with him. He has been plating for 17 years at a high level. If he continues playing he will still be one of the best players in the game. However, mentally he felt that it was time to retire.
